Brigitte Chabbert, a FARE researcher, was invited to the Frontiers in biorefining congress organized by the University of Tennessee in Saint Simon Island, Georgia. FARE activities on the multimodal characterization of lignocelluloses were presented in a plenary conference. Congratulations to Raphaël Coste, a PhD student at URCA (FARE, LRN) and the University of Florida Center, who won the first prize for his poster on the physicochemical properties of cell walls at the nanoscale.

Brigitte Chabbert's mission continued with the visit of the NanoScience Technology Center at the University of Florida Center (Orlando) in the context of Raphael's thesis co-supervised by Laurene Tetard.
